Family

The Family feature turns TrendingBudget from a personal tool into a household financial hub. Add your spouse and children, set savings goals for kids, and share a family dashboard.

• Owner — The primary account holder with full access to everything.
• Spouse — Invited via email or SMS. Gets a shared family dashboard with visibility into budgets, accounts, and transactions.
• Child — Added by the owner. Has a kid-friendly dashboard focused on savings goals and allowance tracking.

Children can have savings goals attached to their profile — pick from common presets (New Bike, Video Game, College Fund, etc.) or create custom goals.

• Progress is shown as a percentage bar on both the family page and the child's dashboard.
• The owner can add or subtract from the current amount.
• Goals can be edited or deleted at any time.

• Send Link — Spouse members receive an invite via email or SMS.
• Access Levels — Spouses can be granted Full or Limited access (limited hides balances and sensitive data).
• Revoke — Remove any family member at any time, immediately revoking access.

• Combined budget progress across the household.
• Children's savings goal progress.
• Family member status and recent activity.
