Transaction Intelligence moves TrendingBudget from passive tracking to an active financial watchdog. It automatically analyzes your transactions and surfaces alerts on the dashboard when something unusual is detected.

The feature runs on every dashboard load. Alerts are dismissible and auto-hide when they no longer apply.

• Price Increases — Detects when a recurring charge has gone up (e.g., a subscription price hike).
• Unusual Spending — Flags categories where spending is significantly higher than your average.
• Large Expenses — Highlights individual transactions above a configurable threshold.
• Duplicate Charges — Finds potential duplicate transactions within a short window.
• Missed Income — Alerts when expected income hasn't arrived by the expected date.

• Runs server-side on each dashboard load via a dedicated API endpoint.
• Compares current data against historical patterns and user-configured rules.
• Alerts are presented as dismissible cards on the dashboard.
• Dismissed alerts are persisted per-user (localStorage) and won't reappear.

Intelligence alerts are enabled by default. Users can control them via Settings → In-App Notifications:

• Toggle individual alert types on/off.
• Set the large expense threshold amount.
