• Budget Alerts — Get emailed when a budget hits its warning threshold or is exceeded.
• Recurring Alerts — Notification when a new recurring transaction is detected.
• Weekly Summary — A weekly email digest of your spending and budget status.
• Monthly Summary — End-of-month financial recap.
• Product Updates — News about new features and improvements.

In-app notifications appear as a badge on the bell icon in the top bar. Clicking opens the notification panel.

• Budget Exceeded — A budget has gone over its limit.
• Budget Warning — A budget is approaching its limit.
• Recurring Found — A new recurring transaction pattern was detected.
• Large Expense — A transaction above your threshold was recorded.
• Income Received — A deposit was detected in a linked account.
• Savings Goal — A child's savings goal has been reached.
• Subscription Check — Periodic reminder to review active subscriptions.

Each budget can override the global notification settings. Use the Advanced section in the budget editor to set custom warning percentages and toggle email alerts per budget.
