Data Sources
- All analysis includes both Plaid-synced and manually entered transactions.
- Categories are determined by auto-categorization rules, manual assignments, or Plaid defaults.
- Merchant names come from transaction metadata — you can edit them on individual transactions.
Tips
- Categorize uncategorized transactions regularly for more accurate breakdowns.
- Use the Merchant Spend widget to find "invisible" spending — small recurring charges you may have forgotten about.
- Compare the Recurring vs One-Time chart month over month to see if your fixed costs are growing.
